Make room for worship

Read Genesis 2:1–3 and Exodus 20:8–11. Thank God for setting apart the seventh day.

Prepare with a peaceful heart

As you are able, complete ordinary work and prepare simple meals before Friday sunset.

Lay down the noise

Set aside work notifications and distracting tasks. Make space for prayer and Scripture.

Gather and give thanks

Plan to worship with a local congregation and share encouragement with someone there.

Let rest become love

Welcome a guest, visit someone who is lonely, or offer a thoughtful act of mercy.
