God's love comes near
Read in your Bible: John 1–3.
John introduces the eternal Word who becomes flesh, then records signs and conversations revealing Jesus' identity. Nicodemus comes by night and hears about birth from above and God's love for the world. New life depends on God's gracious action rather than religious standing.
The Son is not a reluctant Saviour persuading an unwilling Father to care. God's love is the source of the saving gift. New birth cannot be reduced to family heritage, membership or an intense feeling; the Spirit gives life that becomes visible in a responsive course.
Receive God's love before assessing how impressive your religious history appears. Bring a resistant habit into prayer and seek a practical response to grace. Make space for a sincere question from someone beginning to explore faith.

Let us pray
Loving Father, thank You for giving Your Son for the world. Let Your Spirit renew my heart beyond outward standing, and help me respond to grace with trust, honest questions and faithful action. Amen.
